Guest guest
Amy, check out the Gerson Therapy at www.gerson.org Many have been healed completely from hepatitis C. My brother-in-law is doing it for that disease and is feeling a lot better already. Amelia On Behalf Of Renee JudkinsSunday, March 05, 2006 1:47 PM Subject: More on Hepatitis C hsibaltimore.com] "Do you have something to help with Hep-C?" asks an HSI member namedAmy.Sure do, Amy.Hepatitis C is caused by a virus, which is picked up through contactwith contaminated blood or organs. When I asked HSI Panelist AllanSpreen, M.D., what his recommendation would be for fighting this virus,he started off with information about a trusted old standby: vitamin C.Dr. Spreen: "Fred Klenner, MD, showed decades ago (along with RobertCathcart, M.D.) that ultra-high-dose intravenous vitamin C can kill anyinvader, bacterial or viral."In more 'doable' dosages (and non-IV), the 2 biggies that I'd be usingwould be milk thistle extract (silymarin) and NAC (n-acetyl cysteine).Olive leaf extract and grapefruit seed extract (not grape seed) are bothanti-bacterial and anti-viral."In Dr. Spreen's opinion hepatitis C patients have nothing to lose byusing these supplements because "there are NO drugs effective againsthepatitis C (period), and all the above-mentioned supplements are almostdevoid of side effects and/or toxicities."In the January 2000 HSI Members Alert we told you about anotherhepatitis C treatment; an immune system booster called Active HexoseCorrelated Compound (AHCC). Made from hybridized Japanese mushrooms,AHCC has been shown to increase the activity of natural killer cells byas much as 300 percent. At the AHCC Research Association's 8th symposium in Sapparo, Japan, adoctor from the Centers for Integrative and Complementary Medicine inNew York reported that AHCC had helped hepatitis C patients drop theirviral load by as much as 89 percent in as little as four months. And ina Japanese study, 40 hepatitis patients treated with AHCC experiencedmore energy and appetite, increased platelet counts, and a halt in theprogressive development of cirrhosis. In that January 2000 Members Alert we also told you about an AHCCproduct called ImmPower-AHCC, which is available through the HarmonyCompany (theharmonyco.com). If you have hepatitis C, talk to your doctoror a healthcare professional before beginning a regimen of AHCC or anyother dietary supplements. To Your Good Health,Jenny ThompsonTap into the minds of other health-conscious readers like yourself atthe new HSI health forum: http://www.healthiertalk.com
Guest guest
I agree!! But use mineral ascorbates so you don't have bowel intolerance and if the disease is active take 1000mgs per 15 pounds of body weight. Regular daily maintenance doses should be 6000mgs and at the minimum 3000mgs. All the animals except for 4 and we are one of them produce 1000mgs per 15 lbs of body weight. That is the clue to how much of this we really need to stay healthy.
