Your pets sound nice.I love dogs. I actually bought one a few months ago. Then I rethought it because I had to get two jobs anddidn't want her to be alone all day. Poor littlepuppy. I felt so bad for my family, and I still obsessabout that decision, but I hope to have a dog within afew years. We have an iguana now, less attentionrequired. Kel Hi Kel, We love our pets. I think that pets are God's gift to humans. My dog is like my baby. I think that they are very therapeutic, as well. There are studies that older people with pets fare much better than those without. Definitely get another when you can. They are such a joy. Surprisingly, bunnies are wonderful pets. Everyone knows that they are cute, but they have wonderful little personalities, and they are very affectionate, as well. Barb
Guest guest
Barb, I am allergic to most animals including cats and rabbits. Otherwise I would love to have a rabbit. There are only a few dogs I am not allergic to and they bring in the allergens from outside of course if they have long hair (my nemesis is ragweed). I have ocd, mostly pure thoughts and the dog triggered a lot of pain for me, a lot of depression and anxiety. I view them as little angels. I wanted the dog to have a great life and now I realize she would have had a great life with us, so I try not to obsess about making wrong decisions. It seems like most of my decisions have been wrong in my life. A terrible track record. Where she is, she is really never alone though. She is with two retirees and an elderly mother of theirs. They will take her to Florida in the winter. (I live in Northwestern Pa where the winters drag on soooo long.) I hope in the future to have a little chihuahua. It just seemed like too much of a responsibility at the time. And now I have two part time jobs which are gift-basket making and pizza delivery. I want to travel to California and am trying to earn the money to do so. I prefer it when I obsess about health matters. It results in research. When you guys find out how crazy I am you won't want to meet me any more, lol. Hugs, Kel
