I think reducing your exposure first is key, and then avoiding moldy foods, etc (like watermelons, etc), then avoiding sugar and processed foods, then detoxing, cleaning out your body...getting the heavy metals out etc. For instance if you have a lot of mercury in your system, the bacteria, fungi, and molds will cling to that and proliferate on it because it is barren of oxygen. Getting oxygen to all parts of the body is key. Juicing and the Johanna Budwig diet are excellent ways to do this. The Johanna Budwig diet does this by putting omega 3 fatty acids all over the body, oxygenating and quelling free radicals, etc. I forget what other foods have a high mold content. The longest lived people (I have read) are people who live in the dry mountain regions who actually drink a lot of tea with rock salt in it to hydrate. All those minerals are key for longevity. The right itamins and minerals and enzymes can fight the molds you picked up from the building. There is a good called Toxic Mold and Women.
