Guest guest
This site is really great to talk with people long distant on the computer. You need a mic and it is FREE. The sound is also great. I have been using the site for over a year and love it! www.skype.com You can purchase a mike at Target for about $18.00. I got a Labtec. If you don't have a mike, there will be an echo with the conversation. I say Target instead of Wal-Mart because I feel that Wal-Mart is terrible to their employees. Wal-Mart uses as many part time employees as possible in order to not pay benefits. Just don't sign in that you are a female or a female name. I signed in at first with my real name and that I was a female. I got all these calls from men in other countries. I think they wanted to marry me and come to the US. My contact name on skype is: c2beav-az If you sign up let me know your contact name. Marilyn - Skype mbeav Tuesday, August 02, 2005 6:29 PM Happy Birthday, SkypeOut! This message contains graphics. Happy Birthday, SkypeOut!To celebrate we have lowered our SkypeOut rates in over 20 countries*. We have also added 6 new countries to the SkypeOut Global Rate (China, Greece, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Poland and Switzerland). We hope you’ll be able to spend even less on calls now. You will still be able to call at the current cheaper rate until 9 am (GMT) on September 1 this year. Guest guest
Hi Marilyn, My son had Skype on his laptop, along with the labtec mic. He had Windows XP for his operating system. I have Windows 98 for my operating system. My son says he can't get Skype on my comp because it is a Windows 98 system. Do you know anything about this? Perhaps I can go to the link you posted and get info on that. Or maybe it's just time to upgrade my operating system! Any info would be much appreciated, if you have any. If not, I'll find it. Don't worry about trying to find it for me. Blessings, ReneeL & M Beaver <mbeav wrote: This site is really great to talk with people long distant on the computer. You need a mic and it is FREE.
