Guest guest
When I drink soy milk, my pms is worse and periods are heavy. I have been diagnosed with lupus too. Amelia, how do you do this? juicing? my husband grills meat all the time, it is sooo good, ughhh...has anyone here adhered to a diet despite living with other people who don't? For someone like me who is addicted to food this is very very hard. Kel
Guest guest
Kel, and everyone: I have to confess, I am no longer doing the Gerson diet. Ok, I said it. I got tired of juicing; couldn't handle the work and it made my wrists hurt. I still do a couple of coffee enemas a day, though and I do feel better somewhat. I do still avoid certain foods. I'm getting the allergy test done tomorrow to make sure I don't eat anything I'm allergic to. Guest guest
Hi Amelia, I just got a juicer in the mail. I bought a Jack Lalane Power juicer for 100 dollars. (It's all I had.) I am hoping that I juice more frequently with this one but I heard it breaks easily. The juicer's mouth is wide so that you can pop a whole apple into it, etc. I hope I begin a love affair with this juicer that will last a long time. I know more enzymes get killed with a centrifical juicer but I am not juicing right now so I think it's better to juice easy than not at all. Don't feel badly about stopping the diet. I have yet to try a coffee enema, but my son is going to go to preschool three days this summer so I have no excuse about time then unless I get another job. Well take care! Thanks for writing~ Kel
Guest guest
Kel, you are smart to get that juicer and start doing it. I spent a lot of money on mine and now I'm not using it! My husband does use it on the weekends. Can your juicer do greens as well? I can tell you from my experience, that I don't plan to quit the coffee enemas, just because they do make me feel better and they are easy once you get the hang of it. Guest guest
Hi Kelly, For a long time, I made my macrobiotic food, then made another meal for my kids. I gradually introduced macrobiotic dishes into their meals. Now that I'm done with the cancer, we all compromise, I eat a little of what they want and they eat a little of what I want. It makes for some pretty interesting, but very good meals! Juicing is work. It is time consuming. But it is fun. Try to stick with it. You don't have to juice everything. Try one or two juices a day until you get used to it and it becomes easier and faster with eperience for you. Or juice on weekends until you are ready to do it daily. The important thing is to just juice though. The more you do it, the more you will like doing it. Don't get burned out though, before you even start. Just start at a slow pace and work up to doing more...like exercise! Blessings, Renee --- " Kelly W. " <kellykebby wrote: > When I drink soy milk, my pms is worse and periods > are > heavy.
