Alfalfa and the croup

Hello, I have lupus and used Barley Max (barley powder

and alfalfa) for a while. It did make my cheeks redder

than they were, but I think Renee's product has much

less than I used. It did not really cause any lupus

symptoms except for the rash/allergy? and as I said,

there was a considerable amount in there. Perhaps

because I only have mild lupus I wouldn't be afraid to

try what Renee suggested. Now on the other hand, a lot

of greens would scare me, I would surely be allergic

to one, but that's me; I am Miss Allergy.

By the way, my son has viral croup (hard to breathe

and barking cough, he is 4). None of my kids have ever

had this before. We took him to the E R yesterday and

it looks like we will have to take him tonight. They

gave him a breathing treatment and liquid steroids.

This seems much worse than asthma. I guess it is

supposed to last as long as the virus does. Any advice

is appreciated. Take care, Kel

Hi Kelly,

The Vital Green and Biomega products I use have proven

to be very effective for allergies and asthma. I don't

know about viral croup, but I'd be willing to bet my

life savings on it! I am so against steroids of any

kind! I know they are sometimes medically necessary,

but I think they do so much more damage than good. And

they are so often used in children! It makes me cringe

just at the thought of it. Antibiotics are extremely

over used too. I will pray for your son's quick

recovery. There is nothing that makes a mom feel worse

than having a sick child. Did the docs recommend any

breathing treatments or RT for him until the virus

passes? You might want to ask them about something

like that to help him breathe. All my best to you and

your precious child!

Blessings,

Renee

BTW Thanks for your support on the Vital Green. I

still want to get all the facts on immune system

stimulation in regard to autoimmune disease though. I

like to be informed of everything as best I can. I do

know of people who use Vital Green with autoimmune

disease though, one personal friend in particular with

fibromyalgia. I want her input too! I know these

products are formulated very differently than anything

else on the market. I've bet my life on them and my

children's lives as well and I've won everytime!

Kel, now they even make a Barley Max Alfalfa free for people with lupus. I think everyone is different and has to use their own discretion. People with lupus are known for being allergic to "everything". Take care, Amelia
