Guest guest
To the new member whose child suffers from frequent ear infections and diaper rash. Common things people react to causing mysterious problems are wheat, corn, milk products, and tomatoes. Sugar may be another problem because candida feeds on it. Please check out the Specific Carbohydrate Diet for you and your child as well as the Anticandida diet. They are similar in the way that they try to restrict the refined carbs that bacteria and fungi love. DOctors don't know what they are doing. Their lack of common sense concerning the body causes many more problems for people esp with the drugs they prescribe. Candida and food allergies go hand in hand. Also, check your house for mold. Mold spores may not be visible. If you can afford to test your air that would be great. Here is an excerpt from the following site http://www.nationalcandidacenter.com/whatiscandida.htm Antibiotic overdose is an epidemic and children under 10 years old are prescribed more antibiotics than any other age group. Typically a child will needlessly undergo courses of antibiotics for common problems like colds, flu or earaches where natural remedies would have sufficed. Antibiotics upset the inner ecology, destroy probiotics, cause Candida Overgrowth, causing mucus, more sinus problems and more earaches. Then they receive more antibiotics which worsen the Overgrowth. A vicious and needless cycle has begun. Soon the recommendation comes for Ear Tubes. This is my estimation of why your child is getting sick. A good probiotic is yogurt, but not the commercial kind, perhaps, organic yogurt with a low-glycemic fruit shake for him or her. When the body ecology gets back to normal, the candida will die down. The best thing you can do for him, her is to eliminate wheat and corn and instead use brown rice and millet, etc. Good luck!
