Guest guest
Kelly- My friend who has a toddler whose teeth are missing enamel told me about the sweetener Xylitol. There are mouthwashes, toothpastes and gum. I have been usingthe products witih my son. Incidently, it is the same sweetener that was proven in tests to decrease ear infections becauseif it's anti-bacterial properties and is somehow made from treebark. I think the website is Xylitol.org. Maybe that will be helpful in the war against cavity bugs! Another group I belong to has a member from New Zealand. Her dentist uses an interesting approach - " ozone treatment " and " mineral treatment " . Maybe we could find out more about those options. I will let you know if I learn anything else : ) Joys! This is not so.... They want to do many fillings. I believe that since cavities are bacterial they might be able to be reversed by changes. Does anyone have experience or opinions? > > Thank you, > > Kelly
