Guest guest
This was sent to me from a very dear freind who I must say is very politically active. She always has been and she always will be. Dan Dear Health Friends, Good morning! Hey I just read over 50% of the total US health dollar is now being spent on what's been labeled "Alternative Medicine," and they (alternatives) are, for the most part, paid for by out-of-pocket consumer dollars - not health insurance or Medicare. All insurance or Medicare will pay for, currently, is "conventional" health care methods. Isn't that amazing? If we are at 50% alternative medicine and people are willing to spend money out of their own pocket, then WE ARE WINNING! Those people are going to tell their friends and relatives how they are getting better from non drug remedies and soon, "Alternative" is mainstream. I got the above information in an article America vs. Quackbusters - the Wisconsin "Suster Case..." from a newsletter ("Millions of Health Freedom Fighters - Newsletter") that I to--see http://www.quackpotwatch.org/default.htm This newsletter is about the battle between "Health and Medicine" and it is free online. What we now need, as discussed in this article, is for health insurance and Medicare to start paying for this medicine. In Nevada, we were able to pass through the Legislature that we can get medical trust fund type insurance. This is where money is put into a medical account and the person determines what kind of care they receive. Isn't that progressive? What we need now is to get employees asking for this type of insurance--medical trust funds and then employers seeking this type of health insurance for their employees! We win, people win, insurance companies win (not such high costs therefore more money in their pockets) and most everyone lives longer with more productive lives! Let us all get busy lobbying! Please spread this wonderful news!
