Guest guest
I just did the improving soil search and came up with: I have clay soil, so I will fill the wagon and put sand in it. Any ideas or corrections are welcomed. Thanks again for the help. Jay The New Search - Faster. Easier. Bingo.
Guest guest
Jay, I had clay soil, and the solution for me was lots of organic matter. Did not add sand. Now I have sand, and I miss my clay soil so bad! No kidding. It was hard to work at first (pick and shovel), but once you get organic matter in it, it is beautiful and stays fertile. Sand is easy to work but you have to redo it every year, as far as I can tell. Which is a big problem for perennials. Unless anyone has any ideas for permanently correcting sandy soil?
