Guest guest
Hi Jaylee, Lavender is a great all round medicinal herb. It’s very relaxing & has many healing properties, it’s said to be one of the most versatile of herbs. It smells great too! It’s one of the few essential oils that you can apply to open wounds, it’s excellent for burns. I live on an ashram & it’s the main component of our kitchen burn kit. One of our staff had a very nasty burn once & healed it with lavender oil & aloe – she’s a nurse & has a lot of experience with this. Roman Chamomile & Ylang Ylang are also very calming. I just did a quick google search & came across… http://www.rainbowcrystal.com/oils/calm.html - it has some good suggestions for oil blends for calming & relaxation. Dig around the web to find a site that you can relate to, there are so many out there. Young Living Oils are recognized as being one of the top quality producers of essential oils. There are literally hundreds of sites that sell their products. They’re not cheap but you can be guaranteed of their quality – the oils are organic & therapeutic grade. This makes a big difference in the quality of the oils. Also, because the quality is exceptional you need very little amounts to achieve the desired effects. It’s highly concentrated so use sparingly! Don’t be put off by their seemingly very commercial approach, their products really are 1st rate & many, many people have had wonderful experiences using them. You’ll find many testimonials on hundreds of different sites. Best thing to do is to track down a local distributor in your area so that you can communicate with them as well as sample the oils. http://www.youngliving.us/ You’re going to be soooooo happy you invested in a diffuser! Also a yummy essential oil bath before bed is a lovely treat & very effective, as well as putting a few drops on your pillow. You’ll float right into never never land….. Sweet dreams & happy experimenting!! Peace & Blessings, Kamaniya -----Original Message----- jewelfan78 [wintersbutterfly] Thursday, April 24, 2003 12:22 AM To: question about oils...
