Assuming your doctor has found no other problems that might be

causing the " chest cold, " I think the Chinese medicine approach is a

good idea.

 

I also think that you may need to look at how you breathe. Many chest

colds develop because of poor breathing. Air gets trapped in the

lungs and bacteria and viruses can easily grow there. Poor breathing--

breathing in which your exhalation is not complete--can lead to

infections and respiratory problems of many varieties. It can also

slow down the healing process.

 

There are three free breathing practices on my site

(especially " straw breathing " to help your exhalation) that may help.
