Guest guest
Hi there I have just joined this group and I wonder if anyone can answer a question for me? I would like to know which soap would be good for washing private parts? I know that it's a bad idea to use colured/perfumed soaps there and I wonderd if pure olive oil soap would be good or bad for that area. Thanks in advance A
Guest guest
I'm not sure about the male private parts, since I don't have any...but with my education in childbirth & women's reproductive issues (doula & midwifery student) I know that it is best to avoid soap altogether. The yoni is host to many types of bacteria, some good some bad - and when you wash with soap (or douche by the way) you wash away all of them...without the good " germs " to keep the " bad " ones at bay you are opening yourself up to yeast infections or other uncomfortable problems. Clean warm water on a regular basis is really all that is needed when a person practices good hygeine. If you feel you MUST use soap, I would suggest castille soap, heavily diluted with water. Guest guest
My partner (who is female) and I would both like to know what would be the best clensing product. She doesn't wash inside but just the outer area. At the moment we both use pure, non coloured, non perfumed soap but we get the feeling that this probably is not a good idea. We also use this soap when washing a little in the crack between the bottom cheeks (sorry if this kind of discussion offends anyone). Don't know if we are doing a baf thing here.
