Guest guest
Hello! I’m new to the list and have been enjoying the posts. I’m a holistic practitioner, focusing on whole foods nutrition. I have a non-food question and I was wondering if anyone had suggestions. My client has a daughter who recently broke her harm and has a cast on. Is there anything that can be done about the itching besides ‘grin and bear it’. Thanks, Adela Adela M. Guest guest
Depending on how far into the cast you can get, you could try tea tree oil, it is an antifungal, antibacterial essential oil that works wonders for all kinds of skin problems. I would also suggest visualizations & relaxation exercises. Hope she is able to find something that helps! Guest guest
Have you tried scratching the itchy area with a knitting needle? I never had a cast, but have seen people do that to reach the itch. I suppose you need to go slowly and carefully, but it does slip under easily and they come in very thin ones and long ones and whatever you could want. --- Miranda Embry <doulanmom wrote: > Depending on how far into the cast you can get, > you could try tea > tree oil, it is an antifungal, antibacterial > Web Hosting - establish your business online http://webhosting. Guest guest
If you have an air compressor and a nozzle hooked to it....let that air blow in the cast. It works! Best of luck!
