Guest guest
Hey, everyone! I am curious about soy milk bought from the plain old grocery store. Does anyone have any information about soy milk? The brand I get is SILK or SunSoy. Good or bad? I am wondering because my son drinks so much of it, I just want to be sure that it is safe for him. He is 4 years old and has never had dairy, that I know of. I nursed him until he was 2 years old and have been very careful not to give him any dairy because diabetes runs in my family and my husband is lactose intolerant. Also my brother gets very sick when he drinks milk or eats pizza. So I figured I wouldn't even take the chance of upsetting his system with something that could harm him. Is that crazy? Do children REALLY need milk to grow strong bones and all that kinda stuff or is this just a myth? He is very healthy, big and strong. He's never been really sick or on any antibiotics. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Always , Amy

I plan on raising vegan children and I happen to like soy products. The only cncern with soy is that it is a known allergy food due to GMOs. Lok for gmo-free soy milk. You can even try rice or nut milks...
