Don't forget the other practical safety tips for

flying healthy.

Rest well before your trip so you don't get run down.

People often get so wrought up and stressed prior to

thier trip they are already worn out before they

arrive.

Plan and pack ahead of time so you don't pull a

panicky all nighter.Arrive early, better to sit and

read quietly than stress out in line if security is

slow.

Pack light, porters are often in short supply now with

security restrictions.

Comfortable shoes are a must when traveling, no tight

clothes to restrict circulation.

Drink a LOT of water avoid caffiene and alcohol in

flight...too dehydrating. Carry your own water

bottles, don't drink the stuff from the faucet on the

plane.

Pack some fruit for a snack in flight. You can't get

it thru customs, but it sure is better than any

airplane or airport snacks.

Take some extra C and use a little moisture in you

nostrils if your nose feels dry and moisturize your

skin well before you leave. There is almose no

humidity on a plane.

My Dr once taught me to " snuffle " a little lightly

salted water to help rinse out my nose. People forget

how many organisms are caught up in thier noses!

Shower when you arrive. Stretch a little and breathe

in some fresh air. If nothing else, it helps relieve

the fatigue and tension you may have picked up en

route, and we all know that releasing stress helps

your immune system!
