Guest guest
After getting out of the USMC with a serious ankle injury, including 2 pins, I spent 2 years on anti-inflammatories, before discovering my " calling " in natural health. My personal work with pain is what led me into this field as a practitioner. The side effects of drugs were unacceptable to me for long term use, so I started using Arnica all the time, then switched to Rhus Tox for a while. Now, I rarely need anything for pain, but when I do, I reach for my Liquid Triggers Pain Gel, by DNR. http://www.dnrinc.com. The pain gel gets rid of the pain IMMEDIATELY, with absolutely no side effects. We also use it on every other kind of boo-boo here in the house. I've used this pain gel on sore throats, gargled in a little water, on abscessed teeth before getting a root canal, and the mini boo-boos that kids seem to get all the time. There's no reason to be in pain. None. No reason for carpel tunnel surgeries either. The DNR pain gel solves immediate pain problems, and the liquid needles applied topically heal the injuries completely. For more serious pain issues, they also have body soaks. The Amber Soak is for chronic pain. Also, if you have a long standing pain issue in joints, consider using MSM to rebuild the connective tissues. And add magnesium to your diet, NOT CALCIUM. The reason that people develop most arthritis is very simple. The body needs to have sufficient magnesium in order to make stomach acids to digest foods. Undigested foods create a burden on the body to break down, particularly the liver and gall bladder and pancreas. Without magnesium to make hydrochloric acid, the body leaches other alkalizing minerals, first magnesium, then sodium (stored in the joints and gall bladder), then calcium. People mistakenly are taking calcium supplements which are TOTALLY UNABSORBED by the body, because there isn't enough magnesium for the chemical reactions that create bioavailability to take place. You MUST have stomach acids HIGH enough to absorb calcium, and that only results from magnesium being available. The problem is STRESS EATS MAGNESIUM first. The muscles contract with calcium and relaxes with magnesium. Stress keeps it all contracted, not relaxed. There are quick fixes, but clearing up the problem with digestion is the long term solution. Adding magnesium to the diet is the fastest and cheapest way. Interestingly, everyone with arthritis also has gall bladder problems. The connection is that excess sodium in the diet is stored in the gall bladder and joints. If your diet is lacking in minerals to offset the high amounts of acid in your diet, either through heavy meat or dairy consumption or stress (the body creates acid as a by-product of cellular activity resulting from stress... this must be neutralized, so the body robs minerals from whereever it can find them) This is another reason why osteoporosis marketing hype is such a scam on the on general public. Osteoporosis is caused by lack of magnesium (number ONE) and lack of exercise (number TWO). That's it. Everyone knows that calcium supplements are very poorly absorbed, and without magnesium they are totally useless. There are numerous studies that show when magnesium and exercise are added to the lifestyle, that bone density improves. Either one, or the other, or both will be enough to make a substantial change. I'll forward a recent article later about vibration ( " exercise " ) that was interesting. Why magnesium when we're talking about arthritis?? Because the body needs it to create stomach acids to digest the food and your thought life. (never eat upset, etc) If there isn't any available, the body robs the gall bladder and joints for alkalizing sodium deposits. Once the sodium (a mineral softener) is depleted, the gall bladder gets hardened deposits from the liver called stones, and the joints start calcifying. Pouring more calcium into the cauldron is a big no-no at this point. Using something like DNR's liquid triggers or liquid needles topically, digests the energetic vibrations that cause those joints to create pain. Using a pain gel to digest a calcification doesn't address the lack of minerals that the body needs. Treating the body for pain continually ignores that there are other internal organs like the kidneys and heart that desperately need alkalizing minerals for optimum function. Those problems then show up fatally or when we're in a crisis. Paying attention to the body's signals early on and responding appropriately with nutrition can rebuild the damage. As the doctors say, when you use a drug therapy to combat a physical problem you have to recover twice.. once from the problem and once again from the drug's side effects. Getting to the root of the problem is much easier, cheaper, etc. My ankle injury with two pins is now 16 years old. I was told that the bone would die, and that my foot would need to be amputated. I refused that prediction and sought other means to control pain. The body is miraculous and will repair just about any injustice to it. At a recent disability exam at the VA, they commented that my ankle now has no cartilage between the bones in the area of the injury, but that there was no sign of inflammation or arthritis. They asked me how I was managing the pain from this. I told them that I only had pain when a storm front moved through and that I managed it with homeopathics and pain gel. They were incredulous. If you know how to use homeopathy properly, you'll find that there's a lot that the body can do to repair itself spontaneously. Hope this helps someone in pain. There is help, and it's not expensive. Warmly, Moe
