Carey Reams, almost as famous as Cayce, said that the lemon was the only

alkalizing food, because it left a true alkaline ash after digestion. Dr.

Many people with digestion problems should consume a teaspoon of vinegar

before each meal to increase stomach acidity. This would remedy most of

their poor digestion in the short term, and do away with the need for a

" tums " after every meal. Anyone eating a tums is slowing down and

defeating mother nature's digestive enzymes, and dying a slow death.

 

For those people who like to take herbs, safflower is an excellent herb for

digestion, and shouldn't be consumed by pregnant women because it's so

powerful.

 

Very few people are actually high acid types, and they are usually blue

eyed people. It's very very rare for a brown eyed person to have high acid

stomachs.

Hi Moe,

 

My understanding is as follows:

 

The family of agrumes are currently mainly

hybrids. In their original forms they were

alkaline reacting.

 

Therefore, lemon juice should always be added to

orange. And lime juice for certain other members

of the citrus family. There are formulas, but as

I don't use them all, this is the one I recall

best.

 

There's one for grapefruit, I think also.

 

The point of the mixing is to restore the

original PH of the non hybrids.
