For those people who like to take herbs, safflower is an excellent herb for digestion, and shouldn't be consumed by pregnant women because it's so powerful. Very few people are actually high acid types, and they are usually blue eyed people. It's very very rare for a brown eyed person to have high acid stomachs. In their original forms they were alkaline reacting. Therefore, lemon juice should always be added to orange. And lime juice for certain other members of the citrus family. There are formulas, but as I don't use them all, this is the one I recall best. There's one for grapefruit, I think also. The point of the mixing is to restore the original PH of the non hybrids.
