Guest guest
I would like if anyone can give me some tips. Last april, I suddently got pain from my fingers to the elbow just on the right arm. I couldn't use the mouse at all. As soon as I touch the mouse, the incredible pain starts and as I press between the fingers, the pain runs to my elbow. The Doctor prescribed some pain killers to stop it and it happens more at night, some nigh I had to wake up, I couldn't tolerate the pain. Since sometime I took natural ant-inflamatory, MsM- curcumin and bromelain. It helps a lot but a week after, it starts and I think it's an allergy I developed, I became dizzy and had nausea. As soon as I stop this thing. The nausea and dizziness stopped.I'm wondering if there is any alternatives? Thanks for your tips. Guest guest
Hi Orchid, Sounds like it could be carpal tunnel syndrome. If so, the best cure is to either stop using computer. If you can't do that, you have to do what my husband did, which is to " learn " to use the mouse differently. He plays action games and has learned to lean his whole arm...to vary his height continuously...all to avoid the pre-inflammation stage which he can tell is coming. He already had one surgery for it. The other AI I've heard of is Devil's Claw. Best wishes to you, Suzan --- " nwch.geo <nwch.geo " <nwch.geo wrote: > I would like if anyone can give me some tips. > Last april, I suddently > got pain from my fingers to the elbow just on > the right arm. Guest guest
Hello, Orchid You're the first person I've heard of the had a bad reaction to an MSM supplement. Although, I guess it could be another substance in the formulation you're taking. I used to have a lot of trouble with carpal tunnel syndrome and tedonitis, and MSM keeps these conditions under control. MSM also helped my healing process last year when I broke my arm. If you don't want to try a different MSM formulation, or even if you do, I would also recommend you try Tahitian Noni juice. It helps with inflammation type conditions. I wish you the best of luck, Suzanne www.practical-health.com , " nwch.geo <nwch.geo> " <nwch.geo> wrote: > I would like if anyone can give me some tips. Guest guest
Hi Orchid, I'm wondering if you get any numbness in you're arm or fingers? It sounds to me like it could possibly be Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. In which case an anti-inflammatory probably won't help. I developed a terrible case (of CTS) when I was pregnant, and the Dr gave me a splint to wear. It took a while, but it really helped. It's something you may want to look into. Good Luck, I would like if anyone can give me some tips. Last april, I suddently got pain from my fingers to the elbow just on the right arm. I couldn't use the mouse at all. Guest guest
Hello, No, Sometimes at night I couldn't bend my fingers, they are so stiffed, at the beginning I thought it was the carpal tunnel syndrome but the Dr said no b/c he pressed on my wrist and It wasn't hurt. I used the blue stuff, it helps abit. This anti-inflammatory really helped but I can't take anymore, I felt so sick with dizziness and nausea.
