I recently survived my second transplant on January 18, 2003 - a

kidney - and am recovering well. My first transplant was a heart in

July 2000 and it is also doing well especially after having undergone

anaesthesia a second time. Now you may think THAT was a lot to

handle, but amidst it all, my wife of 5 years was diagnosed with

cancer last year and after chemo and radiation treatments lasting

over a year, the cancer came back last Christmas. She ended up having

a mastectomy to remove the localized cells.

 

The reason I tell you this is to let you know that I know a little

about survival, and now more than ever, about what it takes to stay

I'll share with you that given the above events in our lives we are

very positive about the future. We strive to be physically fit and

eat well.
