Balance

It seems most of us do things to extreme, too much of one thing and

not enough of another. This is why we get out of balance. Too much

work, not enough play, relaxation, time to ourselves. We rely on our

5 senses too much, and not enough on the others, the inner awareness

so many dismiss as weird and impractical. To Indigenous peoples,

these inner abilities were the first senses, as they are to me. My

Spirituality is as important to me as physical wellbeing. Self

empowerment, to think for myself, to decide what's right for me, to

be in control of my thoughts, words and actions, are all part of

achieving this balance, from chosing healthy foods, to choosing time

for meditation and prayer. When we are in Balance, we feel good, and

hopeful about ourselves, and the world around us. Fear causes deep

imbalance, it's a form of polution, just as dirty air is. I pray

we'll all find balance within us, then we can find peace within us,

as well as peace and balance in our world.

Yes the story is cute, and will definitively appeal to a special

mindset, and will be called " dong " by many others.

How true it is, or if it is just " isomorphic " to teach a subtle

point...

My purpose of this post is actually about " The Secret of the Golden

Flower " ...

....According to Thomas Cleary, Richard Wilhelm made some/many

accidental mistranslations of that work and of it's higher concepts,

and so Cleary did retranslate it.

I have both copies, and I could not make heads nor tails out of

Wilhelm's version.

Cleary's version does make sense.

Now, I'm not quite sure if that means it's a better translation, or

not.

I know I do like his translations of many of the military works of

China, Japan, etc.

Nope.

Probably NOT for anyone on this list.

Which is not a " cut " , nor is it " arrogance " on my part (well, maybe

a bit of a mind read)...

....it's just that " different strokes for different folks " , seems to

apply.

It is a very complex thinking/doing process, and takes a " chunking-

up " mental ability that does take some time, much meditation, many

life-skills, and lots of study, then analizing to see how it fits in

with your own life, your own meditations, your own skills at

telepathy, remote viewing, and distance healing...

It is NOT a quickee way to salvation.

It is the " Classic Chinese Book of Life! "

It is a lay manual of Buddhist and Taoist methods for clarifying the

mind (big picture here, concerning all 3 minds and their parts).

It is a distillation of the inner psycho-active elements in ancient

spiritual classics, describing a natural way to mental freedom

practiced in china for many centuries.

Sincerely,
