Guest guest
Hi Veronica, Thanks for taking the time to check out my album. That is only Part of my collection - I have several more photos that will be posted soon, next month probably. You should see my living room - it looks like a rock shop in here! Stones and crystals everywhere. The faceted hematite are cool aren't they? I got them on ebay and had never seen cut hematite before either so I just HAD to have them... lol... The tangerine quartz was a new one to me too - a very beautiful and special crystal spirit that I often carry with me (stuck inside my bra next to my heart). I love that stone... Morganite - ahhh, a very rare and expensive gem. They make gorgeous fine jewelry that will cost you an arm and a leg in a fancy jewelry store. That is the first and only piece I have gotten but HAD to have it too as my daughters name is Morgan. I am hoping to get started making my own gem elixirs - at least that what I told myself to justify the purchase of all those great stones! lol! One of these days I'll get around to it I guess. ;-) Now if I could only figure out which stones help with procrastination. <WEG> Peace! Mouse Here is some info about Morganite... (from Love Is In The Earth: A Kaleidoscope of Crystals, by Melody) MORGANITE (Astrological Sign of Libra) Morganite is a type of beryl and crystallizes in the form of masses and prismatic crystals, sometimes vertically striated and sometimes terminated by small pyramid-like faces. The color ranges from pink to rose. This mineral is an activator, cleanser, and stimulator for the heart chakra. It helps to bring love into one's life and assists one in maintaining that love as it continues to grow. It also helps one to realize the equality in relationships, between the sexes, and between the races. It brings the actualization of gain to one's life; gain and supplementation of that which is required to cultivate the spirit and to allow one to consciously align the personality with the ethereal soul. It also stimulates the transmittal of impersonal wisdom from one's guides and furthers one's accountability for one's personal reality. It stimulates creativity in issues of self control, assisting one to act from love, and bringing the beautiful jewel of wisdom to the calmness of the mind. It opens the door to the vital currents which activate and energize loving thoughts and actions, bringing forth patience and a reverence for life. Morganite is also a powerful stone, in massive form, for use in ceremonies around the medicine wheel. It provides the experience of the brotherhood and facilitates both speaking and listening with one's heart. It was a stone used to tell stories during the early days of civilization. It contains accessible memories relevant to both the history of its use and to the experiences it has seen. This mineral can be used in the treatment of emphysema, tuberculosis, and asthma, and for further oxygenation at the cellular level to enhance rejuvenation of disordered cells. It has also been used to stabilize the heart and to clear the lungs. Vibrates to the number 3. *** Yummy For Dogs wrote: > > WOW! You have a *lot* of stones!
