All pop should be stopped also, especially diet pops. When through with the anti-biotics, eat yogurt with LIVE cultures or take acidophoisis(?) pills to re-foliate your intestines with the good bacteria. Antibiotics kill ALL bacteria and often lead to Yeast infection. Nylon panties and nylon panty hose contribute to this problem. Get those with a cotton crotch, not nylon. Had these all my life------lost a kidney over it, before I learned about natural things to help keep it from happening. One thing Doctors hesitate to ask you, or a young person is about their sexual activity, a partner can be infected with no visable signs and past it to you, and keep passing it to you. In some cases, a test needs to be done to see WHAT type of infection it is and whether a partner is passing it to you......they can then be treated. Also, she needs to drink TONS of water - way more than she might think she needs. I ended up with kidney stones and wound up in the hospital because I didn't pay enough attention to my body. After she is better and has taken her antibiotics, she might consider doing a yeast cleanse. Good luck!
