Cranberry juice can help, too. Try to get the kind that is 100% cranberry and dilute (1/3 cranberry to 2/3 water or apple or grape juice). There are also cranberry pills available. It is a natural antibiotic so you will need to replenish good bacteria using yogurt or acidophilous tablets. The liquid form is quite bitter so I mix it with OJ. I would also drink pure, unsweetened cranberry juice as it causes the bacteria not to stick to the urinary walls. I would take an antibiotic as follows: A blend of my personal immune tonic (astragalus, echinacea, garlic, cayenne, ginger root, turmeric, pau d'arco and more) with some colloidal silver water. Also try rubbing the area as an alternative therapy with a soothing essential oil blend such as lavender. Up your dosage of Vit C A LOT - this helps my moms bladder nfections now taken ALONE - her new dr told her to take this instead of coming in for a prescription if you can believe it .
