Guest guest
Niki-- One natural approach that works for many is to take pharmaceutical- grade fish oil (Omega-3). You can learn more about this in Dr. Barry Sears' new book " The Omega RX Zone. " If you want to learn on-line bout the important differences between pharmaceutical-grade fish oil and other forms you can go to: http://www.authentic-breathing.com/fish_oil.htm This includes some some material from Dr. Sears. Guest guest
Niki Rae, You can lower your bp through diet and exercise. I own Bakery_Madness , we have several members who are diabetic. I will be posting a lot of recipes for 'natural' and 'healthy' foods - of course, we also have a lot of "ooey, gooey - nono's" that folk should eat _sparingly_ or not at all if they are trying to deal with health problems. Are you using whole wheat flour? If not - you will need to acclimate your body to it - if you switch to drastically, you will get dehydrated. You may also want to join another list I own FoodStorage we address food storage issues, emergency preparedness, and also post recipes that use food storage items. Also tips on how to grow and use wheat grass, for instance. Also, what kind of oils are you using? You need to know your cooking oils. My Mom and I both have low, or lower blood pressure. (Mom's is 92/50, and mine is about 116/60). That, and we aren't big fans of french fries. My dh is 20 years my junior. He has higher bp, and has been told he needs to bring it down. He also is a major french fry and pizza fanatic. He calls fries "deep fried goodness". I used to love pizza, but have eaten so much of it, so often that I am downright sick of it. Maybe if I were to go no-pizza for 10 years, I might like it again. Now it is more like torture for me to have to eat it. HTH, Dawn Hi guys. does anyone know of a good way to lower blood pressure? Guest guest
You might look into taking feverfew. I'm not sure if it's directly related, but I started taking it for my migraines several months ago and my blood pressure dropped as well (it had been in the 'high- normal' range). I'm not sure if it was due to the fact that I was no longer debiliated with headaches constantly, or what. I checked with my doctor and she told me it was a good thing to try - I'm glad I did. Good luck, Lisa
Guest guest
Well, if you happen to use any product with any caffeine in it, you could stop that. I'd tried many things. When I quit smoking I thought my BP would come down a lot, but it didn't. Then something happened that made me have to give up coffee. My BP dropped A LOT. Also, giving up alcohol is supposed to be similar, if you consume it regularly. Exercise helped and weight loss helped, but eliminating caffeine worked instantly. --- Beth <pebs410 wrote: > Blood Pressurex by Nature's Sunshine is a great > product. > > Beth Geiger, CNHC > www.mynsp.com/herbpantry > > *All e-mail is certified virus FREE with Norton > 2002* > - > trinity_fyre2000 > <trinity_fyre2000 > > Saturday, January 18, 2003 11:06 PM > Help.. need to > lower blood pressure > > > Hi guys. does anyone know of a good way to > lower blood pressure? Guest guest
I forgot to add - you may want to get some ProVex CV -- it has Grape skin extract, Grape Seed Extract, Bromelian Fungal Proteases, Ginko Biloba Extract (leaves), Bilberry Extract (berry) and Quercetin Powder, Gelatin in the capsules, and a bit of rice flour for the "filler/binder" stuff.
