Guest guest
My ear candles came in the mail today, and they are hollow, so am I supposed to just light the one end of the candle? Don't laugh but somehow I thought it would look like a candle, with a wick *I know, LOL* So any help would be great... Thanks... Don't laugh but >somehow I thought it would look like a candle, with a wick *I know, >LOL* So any help would be great... Thanks... Just so you're clear: This is a two person process. Yes, the person who is being candled lies down and puts the cone part of the candle in their ear. The person that is doing the candling puts something (towel maybe) down on the person being candled's head so that no ash or stuff will fall on them during the process. Then the person that is standing lights the end of the candle that is NOT cone shaped and watches it burn down to make sure it doesn't get too close to the person that is lying down. Make sure the person that is candling you read the previous posts about it so they know NOT to try blowing out the candle and know not to let the candle burn too, too low. You, if you're the one lying down and being candled, should also hear the flame burning when it's done. If you don't hear anything, it might mean the cone part of the candle is stopped up with either powder or wax. The person standing is responsible for poking something like a toothpick through the little hole in the cone end to dislodge whatever is blocking it. - Anna
Guest guest
Wow!! This is new to me!! But our local health food store no longer carries Wally's candles... might still carry their ear oil... so I hadn't heard. Thanks for sharing, Kilia!! - Anna At 06:15 AM 1/10/03 -0000, Kilia wrote: >Improved Ear Candling Technique > <snip> > >I searched the internet for you, I hope this information is helpful. >through experimentation with dozens of subjects, that the ear >candling process works just as well (and possibly better!) with the >person sitting up, allowing the candle to burn horizontally, at about >a 5-10 degree angle upward from the ear.
