Great for strep, infection. For the nose and cough congestion I buy a bottle of ALKALOL, a mucus solvent , you get it from the pharmacy but do not need a prescription. I put a little of that in a saline nose squirt bottle that I have cleaned and emptied out then filled with good water and a tablespoon of the ALKALOL. This will bring all the congestion out, be prepared because it WILL come out. My kids grew up on it, very safe that we have experienced. A bottle of it is like 8 bucks here and lasts forever. Doctors do not make much money off of me. We rarely go unless it is something very bad of course, yearly blood work, that's it! There are many things behind the counter at the pharmacy that we do not know about. We use it, works fine but like I said before, expect things to come out quickly. p.s do not forget the vitamin C, we always buy a bag or oranges slice them up and suck on them.
