I have it too. I did a little research on the internet, and found that TCM has some herbs for it. It is an imbalance in the system....I forget which balance was off, the cold or hot or warm or yin or yang. But it made sense to me. I just haven't done anything about it yet. There are some foods that make it worse, and that tells me it is probably an allergic reaction, which also leads me to the conclusion of an imbalance in the body. LOL...I'm rambling...

I could be wrong, but I think rosacea is a common ailment of the Pitta-type

in ayurvedic medicine, so the gentler you treat it, the better. A nightly

swabbing of rosewater over the effected areas might help as it helps cool

the Pitta-type. Good luck!

I don't have rosacea, but I used to work with a

woman who had it. It was quite severe, also. Her

doctor told her to give up coffee, which she

found hard, so she limited herself to one cup per

day. She said that improved things quite a bit.

Upon reflection, when last I saw her, I don't

recall her having symptoms and suspect she

probably gave up even the one coffee.

I am mentioning this because it might indicate to

you what sort of imbalance it is due to, knowing

that caffeine is a major player.
