Guest guest
Hello all. I'm new to the group. My name is Carolyn. I'm the mother of a 2 and a half year old with really bad keratosis pilaris. Her doctor doesn't seem to think there's much to do for it. I've increased her beta carotene via carrot juice and have just found a lotion with lactic acid (a small percentage for her delicate skin). I'm hoping someone else has some ideas on how to treat this condition. It is really only a cosmetic thing, but considering she also has a birth defect affecting her left eye (lacking cranial nerve six, can't move left eye past center) I'd like to hope she wont have any more challenges (kids can be so cruel with people that are different! Some already make comments..) I hope that made sense! Thanks! Carolyn
