Thank you for all your helpful responses. I really appreciate them and will take them all into consideration. But Lorne, can you elaborate on the use of "crystal"? I mean, is it a crystal itself? And how is it applied? Where do you purchase? Pardon my ignorance...

Peace,

Chance

I have had a foot odor problem for as long as I can

remember and when you get to wife #3 complaining you

can no longer write it off as nagging so I had to find

a solution. About 1 year ago I started using a crystal

as deodorant as I had always had reactions to

commercial brands and I tried the crystal( a separate

one of course)on my feet and have had spectacular

results. Try it , I have suggested it to my friends

and all have experienced similar results.

Good luck, Lorne

Ack!! I know a GREAT and natural relief for foot odor, there's this plant

that grows wild here in southern New Mexico and you just boil it in water in

a pot that you'll never use for cooking again... then, when it cools, you

soak your feet in it. Soak once a day for a week and even the nastiest odor

is GONE! But I don't know the name of the plant!!!

OK, I'll find out. I have a friend that knows the names of all the plants

around here. I'll ask her this weekend.

I've used it... as has my mother. (We even dabbed a bit in the underarm

area. My sweat tends to get kind of potent...)

A Native American friend told my Mom about it and our family has used it

ever since.

Just any kind of crystal? I don't know very much about crystals...though I did make straight As in college Geology and Physical Science, so I will try to understand them...Is there a usable crystal other than quartz, or is quartz the crystal of choice?

If it's not available in New York, I'll mail you a bunch of cuttings. The

darned stuff grows wild around here.

Oh, I'm sure that he was talking about the deodarant crystals that they sell

in health food shops. They're white, smaller than a tennis ball but bigger

than a golf ball. They're supposed to be an alternative to using deodarant.

(sp?)

They're not really crystals in the usual sense of the word.

Chance,

Foot odor can be helped by many of the suggestions that have been offered you. I especially agree with the antifungal properties of rubbing tea tree oil in between your toes on a regular basis. Wash good between your toes in shower, dry well, and always wear clean white cotton, hemp or wool socks. But another thing I really recommend is taking chlorophyl tablets/caps...it's the natural body deodorizer....great for feet, breath, underarm, just in general really....and its got many other excellent benefits, as well. Nothing like boosting your health and ridding your feet of smell at the same time.

Namaste
