Guest guest
Hello. I am ~Aurianna~. I have a question I am hoping to get some help with. For some reason, for the past 6 months, I have started breaking out in hives. Perhaps an allergy, but can not find what it is that is triggering them. Tonight has been the worst.. I have some that are as large as saucers, but also they are covering all of the bottom half of my body and working up to the upper portion. I do take Benadryl which helps somewhat when an outbreak occurs, but sometimes I am at work and Benadryl makes me very drowsy. I was wondering if anyone knows of any alternative rememdy that might aid in helping me to cope with these outbreaks. I have never had an outbreak as serious as tonight, and I am getting worried. We just can not seem to pinpoint what is causing them. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated and thank you's in advance.. ~Aurianna~
Guest guest
Dearest Aurianna and family, When studying under H.B. Jeffery, he writes " do not treat the physical body, but the " diseased " mind. " Therefore, the reason there is a physical symptom is because it came in through the emotions. Once the emotions are cleared, the hives should clear up. This is true for anything, but in skin rashes, hives, shingles, etc., this is due to a high emotional state that was suppressed instead of released. It also means toxins built up in the body. A great way to reduce anything skin-related is to take epson salt/sea salt bath several times per week. If you want a good recipe for this, please let me know. There is a book I found that helped me alot with her , it is called " Is this your child " by Doris Rapp MD ..also I found a homeapathic medicine that helped with the hives and was able to take my daughter off all the meds the doctors put her on ..you can get from Newton Labs ...thier web site is www.newtonlabs.net...they have a Hive medicine..it works great. Guest guest
Hi Aurianna, You sound like you are allergic. When I first realized I was allergic to MSG, huge hives, just as you described, were one of the symptoms. Whether it's MSG or something else, you need to find out what it is. Hard-to-discover allergies are MSG, aspartame, sulfides, and I'm sure there are many others. Like, possibly gases from new polyester pops into my head. Good luck! I hope you can figure it out. Guest guest
Sherry, I have to concur with you on the diet. I've always been in to eating healthy but have become more so in the past year. The grocery store I go to has a small organic section but when I contemplate that a high percentage of food sold in the entire food ( including the foods usually on sale ) are not good for us, its no wonder that this country, despite the seemingly advertised abundance, eats so unhealthy.
