Guest guest
Anyone feel like sharing winter survival tips? (You folks in the southern hemisphere, feel free to share summer survival tips, OK? I don't discriminate against ANYONE that stays on topic, LOL!) For starters, winter air tends to be very dry so I recommend folks use humidifiers during the winter. My sinuses tend to be healthier when I use a humidifier and saline nasal spray though my favorite nasal spray is a mixture of saline water and essential oils, a mix called SINUS MAGIC and available in most health stores. Secondly, if you get a naggy cough that simply will NOT go away, try the herb osha. A few years ago, I had this awful naggy cough that no medical doctor could cure. Then a friend told me about how Native Americans use osha and gave me some. It tasted nasty but it worked. Now I see it comes out in capsule form! So much the better! So, what are your tips? - Anna ******************************************************** Learn more about the way enzymes can change your life! Remember, not all enzymes are created equal! Guest guest
Well. I live in AZ. I don't worry about winter. BUT- SUMMERTIME you have to drink LOTS of water. If you are going out- try and wear a hat. If you are going out in the direct sun- such as golfing in the heat- wear a hat with a cool wash cloth under it to keep your head cool. Drink LOTS of Water, and of course- wear your sun block! - " Anna " <aljuarez Sunday, December 29, 2002 8:37 PM Winter survival tips (northern hemisphere)/ Summer survival tips (southern hemisphere) > Anyone feel like sharing winter survival tips? LOL - I have just returned from London where we have been out in the rain all day. In the UK our winters are mostly damp and grey so I have no suggestions for dry air. I have found that when people give up dairy they tend not to suffer from cattarh and coughs, but I expect you have already tried that.
