Guest guest
Just a reminder: a lot of people get sinus problems in the winter which lead to a tickle on the throat, congestion in the lungs, etc. simply because they're not properly caring for their sinuses. The hot air coming from our heating units usually dries out the sinuses. It's important to use a humidifier or vaporizer to put humidity back into your air. Use a nasal spray or Neti pot to clean your sinuses, too! I'm acutely aware of this because I live in the desert and it's pretty dry here all the time but gets really dreadful in the winter. I'm usually religious about that kind of thing, too, since I've suffered from chronic sinus infections, allergies, asthma, chronic bronchitis every autumn and winter --- but I'm doing a lot better this year thanks to taking enzymes and so I almost forgot my other precautions until I woke up with a scratchy throat last night! Another tip: years ago I had a little naggy cough that no doctor could get rid of. They could suppress the cough with syrups or Tessalon Pearles but they couldn't get rid of my cough. Then a friend suggested that I take Osha, the herb, and to eat as much Osha as I could with honey. Well, it was tough even though she'd had it softening in alcohol for over a month before she gave it to me, and tasted very mediciney but it worked!! I've recommended it to several friends (though in capsule form) and it's worked for them, too!! Those are my winter survival tips, please share yours! - Anna ***************** Learn the truth about allergies!! Learn about real allergy relief!! Guest guest
Anna, Please tell us a little more about this Osha stuff... never heard of that before? I think I have some info about the oxegyen question somewhere - I'll try to find it and compile it into a nice letter. Remind me if I forget okay? Peace!
