Guest guest
Hello There is a wealth of wonderful information on this list--thank you. Does anyone know of any alternatives to root canal therapy? I am now taking a TCM herb instead of penicillin for the abscess, but am scheduled to have the root canal procedure performed on Monday. I would like to avoid this, if at all possible, since there is some concern here about the health implications. I cannot find anything about any alternatives besides pulling the tooth, which is not any better of an alternative. I do have to do something though. Thank you for your attention. Guest guest
American Academy of Biological Dentists 800-311-6265 Book: Whole Body Dentistry This Academy has a wealth of knowledge and has a list of books available to educate yourself about your dental alternatives. The book listed above goes into the tooth/body relationship, or reflex and how teeth problems can affect specific organs. Dental materials are also discussed with the different choices you have and that a conventional dentist may not let you know of these other alternatives. Currently there is a process of banning amalgams from the dentist field completely by the year 2007. All who are interested in this, please call the Academy for more information as there are steps in the making that could use support for implementation. An added note: Before choosing any materials, I would highly suggest that you be tested to see which is best suited for use since they will be permanent. Some people react terribly because of not being tested first and then end up having them removed or end up with physical/emotional problems because of reactions that they are not aware of. Good Health to You! Mary An
