Thanks Renee, I was desperate last night and found out that putting a menthol based cream is NOT the thing to do. It is funny now but not then. The heat just about killed me. I will try to find a wrap thing, have been considering one of the arm wraps to put around my ankle. It just might work. The only thing I have been taking is willow bark for the pain when it gets too bad. Patty

[herbal remedies] tendonitis

Hi,I had tendonitis in both arms a few years ago. I put ice on it several times a day. I used an armband to put pressure on tendons so they didn't have to work hard. I don't know if there are ankle wraps. Maybe ace bandage. Also any of the anti inflamatory herbs because the suffix "itis" means inflamed. Ian's deep tissue repair oil mayb help also. It feels warm, and helps pain. Sorry I can't help anymore than that.Take care,ReneeFederal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1. Natural methods can sometimes backfire. 2. Patty,

If you know of a good acupuncturist it could probably help along

with the deep tissue oil. That's what I would try.

another question. I am having alot of trouble with tendonitis in my

ankle area. The problem lies in the achilles tendon. I cannot stand

anything rubbing on it or laying against it. I am not finding any

help with this at all. Is there anything besides resting the foot and

toughing it out until nature takes its course? Sure makes getting

around tough! Thanks all, Patty

Hello...

I have been a lurker for some time. I love the site and have learned lots.

I had to jump in about the tendonitis. Been there, seen that, have the T shirt. DMSO did it for me. I applied it twice daily and it did the trick.

Like Doc said when using "be sure it is pharmaceutical grade". Be sure there is no foreign substance on your skin when applying as it penetrates. You can taste it very soon after the application. It sure does the trick where there is any inflamation. Hope this helps. Thanks again for all the good info.

Dear "Holistics"

This is my favorite site for finding out about DMSO (there are a lot of them), and he is not even selling it. There is a lot of interesting info about it, but I particularly like the article about B12, which is in the links at the bottom of the page.

http://krysalis-sparx.com/dmso.htm

Apparently the only thing the FDA has approved it for so far, as I found in other articles, is interstitial (sp?) cystitis, but it's not exactly like I'm in awe of the FDA. :o) It definitely has other uses.

DMSO = Dimethyl Sulfoxide

A by product of the pulp and paper industry made from pine trees.

DMSO easily penetrates the skin and has the ability to enhance the rate of skin absorption of other biochemicals (herbs).

When I added DMSO to my already potent Deep Tissue Repair Oil (originally a Doc Schulze formula), I noticed a dramatic increase in penetration and healing speed. The same held true for my ear and eye formulae.

I've been researching it for the last two to three years and will soon be publishing a paper on it as I feel it is vital to health. It is one of the best carriers and catalysts I know of and by itself is a free radical fighter without peer. You can put a drop of 100 pure Pharmaceutical Grade DMSO on your big toe and in 12 to 15 seconds can taste it in your mouth. If your system is really clean, you might taste it in 3 to 5 seconds. It can even permeate bone cells.

I use it on all my cancer patients in their poultices as well.

Hope that answers it.

What is the best treatment for tendonitis? If a person has recurring

tendonitis, could some sort of nutritional supplement help support the

tendons and ligaments?

At last, enzymes that really worked for me! I've never has less symptoms

during allergy season! And it's all due to the Ultimate Enzyme. After only 2

weeks on the Ultimate Enzyme, I could feel the difference!! If my sinuses

started feeling stuffy, I'd just pop 6 capsules of the Ultimate Enzyme on an

empty stomach and the stuffiness would clear up and not just be covered up

like with harsh medications! Enzymes work on a host of issues.
