So what kind of practioner do I consult for help with " disorder-sequencing? "

My medical doctors can't seem to find a solution for my knee/ligament

problems. What are proper exercises? I do lots of exercise though can't do

some, like lunges, due to the ligament problems. I want to find the proper

exercises... where do I look?

Anna,

Please note: I said the problem only "involves" the lack of proper functional exercise. Those things which are "coupled" with the dysfunction must be corrected or you risk further damage. The time "no pain, no gain" is true is when you are starving a muscle for oxygen in order to force it to rapidly adapt to increasing stress loads. (and that may not actually be the best way to go about it for everyone)

To find someone who can help you find your "disorder sequence" (and chances are they won't be using that term since it is one that I only recently coined for my clients), find a practitioner that is truly a "whole person" therapist. (many Ayurvedic or Oriental doctors know to look beyond the particular discomfort which a client is presenting as their problem at hand and look to see where, within the person, the disorder originates and what "re-sequencing" may need to be done to not only eliminate the discomfort, but, to empower the person to deal with themselves in such a way so that they can live without re-manifesting the same or related bodily disorders).

It may be difficult to find such a practitioner because of the "professional focus" syndrome to which doctors and even so-called alternative healers quickly devolve, but, don't give up learning about "the originating cause" of your condition until you do. Then, whether or not you find such a practitioner, you will find your causes and can heal yourself, which is what really happens even if you find them under a doctor's direction anyway. In a living organism, only the organism can heal itself. Oh, you may use or even need some assisting factor/s from outside of your body, but, the body itself has to use those factors to recover its health.

Aside from a truly accidental (outside source) injury to the knee, such as getting hit from behind in a way that resulted in the knee/s being injured inadvertently, I have never had a client present with knee problems that were not the result of a disorder sequence that originated in another part or aspect of the person. The same is true of most of aches and pains and premature degenerative processes.

If you have a problem somewhere in your body and there was no overt trauma to that part of your body, like getting hit, stabbed or shot, and yet that part is under severe stress and is signaling you that you have a problem, do not rush to judgment and think that it is that part (the knee or wrist or elbow or head or eyes, or whatever) that is your problem. The case is usually just the opposite. Usually, you are the problem for your heart, knee, head, wrist or eye, or whatever.

So, I would NOT recommend that you first seek out exercises for your knee. First I would recommend that you exercise your mind's 'eye' and see what the reasons are that you have come to have a week or damaged knee. And keep looking for corrective measures until you have dismantled and replaced ALL of the precipitating factors. In the west we are so focused on the physical aspects of our bodies that we usually fail to see the particular "disorder sequence" that led to the physical problem/s that is bothering us.

If you are going to restore vital function to the troubled area, on an ongoing basis, you need to unravel the dis-order sequence involved and replace it ALL. Leaving any of it in place almost guarantees that you will reformat the ill-functioning sequence or a derivative of it (all you have to do is live long enough).

In that regard, I use the overriding thought that serves as my guiding principle in discovering an individual's disorder sequence. "THE MAIN PURPOSE OF THE HUMAN BODY IS THE EXPRESSION OF THE HUMAN PERSONALITY." Understanding this thought and its derivations will be a factor in 100% of the non traumatically induced health problem's disorder sequences.

Love and Order,

William.

Hi,

Until you find a practitioner that can help you, I think you can try

swimming. It's a great sport, and one of the few that don't put any stress

on the knees. You should be careful not to stress your neck, though.

In addition, you should probably avoid stairs (and stairmasters) as much as

possible, even if it's just one floor and going down.

Hope you find what you need and feel better soon.

Thanks, allay
