Guest guest
Lona, I know exactly how you feel! I have been fighting a tooth infection and I am allergic to many antibiotics. My problem with them is that if I take the dose that a normal person would take I feel like I overdosed. I get very sick. So with my tooth infection the dentist gave me Cipro to take. 500mg twice a day. So I take the pills and break them in half and only take once a day. So 250mg once a day. Then I take 3 doses of a water solible collodial silver (I was told with a water solibile one that your body tosses out what it does not use) then I also take echencia/goldenseal twice a day. If I stop taking any of those things I feel the infection coming back. But if I keep doing them I feel better. I finally get into the dentist this Friday! Hopefully he can fix or remove the tooth that is the trouble maker so then the infection will just go away all together! I had some ear drops here for a while that I believe had garlic in them with other stuff. You warmed them up and dropped them in your ears. Felt really good! and worked great. I wish I still had them so I could tell you the name. I got them at a vitamin and herb store. Also Newtons sells a earache drop that you take orally. You can see them here.. http://allothealing.netfirms.com/newtonsfeverinfection.html#Earache I have had good luck with these when we get earaches.. Good luck and I hope your ear infection gets better soon. Guest guest
My mom gets ear infections all the time so I asked her what she does.. this is what she said.... if it is a yeast type infection, take half water and half white vinegar, and put 4 drops a few times a day if it is a bacterial infection, you need antibiotic drops Hope that helps Regina Jolley Jolley Feathers ~ Bird Supplies http://www.jolleyfeathers.com We now offer Dr. Harvey's Natural Foods!! - " Lona " <lona Wednesday, April 24, 2002 6:56 PM staying out of the hospital > Hi everyone, > I have allergies to many antibiotics and have had an ear infection for > twenty plus days.
