Guest guest
Hi there, Heather here, I'm sorry but this is a bit longer than i thought it would be, but please help me if you can. I wonder if anyone can help. Some of you may know that i had a bad time wiith my health last year after being in hospital for 2 weeks with pielonephritus and a Urinary tract infection (UTI) that did not want to go away. I was told it was a severe infection and was very ill for a while. I was then diagnosed with Endometriosis, which has plagued me with bleeding for 7 months of constant bleeding last year. Things seem to be settling with the endo and i appear to be settling into more of a 28 day cycle. However, before a bleed i tend to get a thick clear slimy discharge vaginally then a very painful bleed for a couple of days where i can''t do a thing. Following this i get cystitus symptoms. Usually i drink loads and it clears within a couple of days. However this time it doesn't want to go. I have had treatment for thrush on Saturday 30th march, trimithrimprim on tuesday 3rd April, urine sample confirmed infection and changed to Cephradine on Thursday 5th, i finnished all antibiotics this sunday. I have been to the GP's almost everyday as the symptoms worsened and the pain went to my kidneys. I went again yesterday and the GP tested my urine withh a dipstick and it was clear, although she is sending it off anyway, all she could say is that you can get pain in the bladder and urethra (excuse spelling please) after the infection has gone due to irritation from inflamation, and to take ibuprofen. However i am still extremely sore when i pass water, not only externally but internally also. i have been bleeding from my urethra, am having this discharge again, and have a very painfull right kidney. I went to the GP again and without even laying one finger on me gave me a script for thrush and told me to give it a couple of days. I went to see my chiropractor today who could not treat me as i asked him if he could examin my pelvis as it seemed hard and lumpy to me, not that i know what i'm doing but it just felt different, he said it felt like my bladder was inflamed and my right kidney felt different to the left one. I just don't know what to do and having had all the problems last year and a bad time with certain dr''s and previous GP''s i feel once again i am being let down and beginnig to lose faith. Please help if you can as i really want to get better and get on to take my driving test. sorry to be so negative but i could really use some advice please. Many thanks Heather If you wish you can email me off group at heatherebull _______________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com
Guest guest
Heather, I can't reply to all the problems you've had, but I understand that ozonated olive oil is helpful for urinary tract infections. When you order it, it should arrive cold (in a hard state) and then kept refrigerated or frozen. You would form the ooo into a suppository and insert. I purchase mine from Saul Pressman at spressman. He is usually pretty prompt at sending things out. A small container is $15.00 and a large container is $50.00. OOO is both an anti-bacterial and an anti-viral agent. It won't harm you and it just may help. I would suggest you join the oxyplus group at , and post your message there as well. Saul Pressman is a member of that group and may respond directly. Good luck to you, Joy Heather Bull [heatherebull] Tuesday, April 09, 2002 2:14 PM ABMcounsellors ; ; Imperfectly_Natural_Parents_UK UTI/kidney infection again, help please Hi there, Heather here, I'm sorry but this is a bit longer than i thought it would be, but please help me if you can. Guest guest
Heather I empathize with you. I also had endometriosis since I was a teenager and my periods would have be literally in bed not able to do anything for the first couple of days. I also got a lot of UTI's and yeast infections. They told me that it would get easier after I had children. That was a joke, I have had five and it did not get better. In fact my daughter has had it since she was a teen so I am assuming that it may be genetic. I tried alot of different methods of dealing with it medically and could not get relief. After my mid thirties and after a tubal I decided to have a partial hysterectomy. Drastic I know but I had spent so much time on my period that life was passing me by. The only relief it did give me was I did have a decrease in yeast infections, eating yogurt every day I was told would help, it has. Then endometriosis I thought went away, because I had no more horrible periods until just a year ago when my doctor informed me that I had a large cyst and needed to have it removed. When they got to it they found out that the endo had spread to other areas when it didn't have my uterus to go to. I don't know what causes this horrible crap and I worry about where it will go to next. They told me that they were going to remove my ovaries because the endo had gotten there too but it had wrapped around them and my other organs so they didn't dare to go near them. You might want to have them do an ultrasound on your organs to make sure the endo hasn't spread, but as far as the UTI's you should start taking cranberry if you havent' already started. That has been able to keep mine away, even when one starts I start raising my cranberry level and it goes away with no Dr visit entailed. I wish you much luck and until you can get it figured out use a heating pad or something like it on your stomach to lessen the pain. Guest guest
Hi Heather, I am sorry you are not feeling well. After I read your post I was just wondering if there was any major stress going on in your life? I truly believe that if one is under a great deal of stress that is shows up as little signs and that when the stress isn't dealt with that the little signs get bigger, over time. I also believe that if one is holding in alot of anger or resentment and not being able to forgive, could make someone ill. And the last one that I believe in is diet. These are just my beliefs and I would just question some of the aspacts(sp?) of what is going in my life and what I can do to change it to make it better. Well, I hope this is of some help. I am sorry that I do not have another answer for you. Please care, Love, Kristen - Heather Bull ABMcounsellors ; ; Imperfectly_Natural_Parents_UK Tuesday, April 09, 2002 5:13 PM UTI/kidney infection again, help please Hi there, Heather here,I'm sorry but this is a bit longer than i thought it would be, but please help me if you can.I wonder if anyone can help.
