Guest guest
It Won't WorkThe holding on to any difficulty is the firm belief that whatever is tried, won't work. We have much investment in our beliefs and thus we have much investment in our blocks. When we keep experiencing difficulty in a particular area, it is because we have the belief that healing won't work out for us.Strange as it may see, we are sometimes proud of the belief that certain things don't work out for us. Some of us are proud of our consistency. We are proud of the fact that no matter how hard we try, certain areas just can't be healed. We are right -- we are hopeless cases in these areas.Anytime we are stuck for any length of time, it is because we are certain that this difficulty "wont' work out anyway." We even seek assistance in order to prove that whatever solutions are presented, these solutions won't work for us anyway - "I'll try it, but it won't work."Some of us have variations on this theme. We believe things won't work out unless they are done a certain way. They won't work out without a struggle or without pain. Some of us believe that things won't work out unless we do them ourselves. In this also we will be proven correct. Be that as it may, we are still right,"I told you so."Healing, all healing, requires a willingness to see - there is another way. How many times before we try anything do we say, "This isn't going to work." How many times have we been right about this?In any situation where we are experiencing difficulty, we may ask, "Am I addicted to the belief that this won't work out for me? If so, would I like to be wrong about this belief?"This is a very strong belief: "Things just don't change or work out for me here." But, we need to see, they don't work out for us BECAUSE WE DON'T WANT THEM TO.WE WANT TO BE RIGHT ABOUT THEM NOTWORKING OUT.We have never really questioned how many things we insist won't work out. Our families will never listen. Our work will never be appreciated. We will never find a healthy relationship. We will always be fearful. We will never understand. We will never be able to do certain things, go certain places. These are the areas that are stuck, where things never change. We can ask ourselves, "Do I want to continue being right about this difficulty, or do I want healing to occur?" Are we willing to bewrong? What if things could work out even in these areas? What if there was another way. What if healing was for us in every area? What if solutions could be found for us too?So, it has never worked before. We are right. The point is, are we willing to be shown how things can work even here. This consideration is the turning point where healing can take place. ~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~**There is a Divine Order to everything in life.
