Guest guest
There is also a menopause formula the combo of it and the female tonic would be good.. and as Don said... what meds are you on, and what is your diet, SuziDon Quai <mysticalherbalist wrote: Hi Jere, Welcome to the group. First, for the menopause, I would suggest you look into the files where you will find the Female Formula. This should help tremendously with the changes that are going on. Second, for the depression, I would like to ask you for more information. Exclusive Video Premiere - Britney Spears
Guest guest
Gee, thanks everyone for taking such an interest in my plight. I will try to answer your questions below. Thanks for all of your help!!! Don Quai <mysticalherbalist wrote: <snip> Second, for the depression, I would like to ask you for more information. What medications are you on for depression? **Prozac, Elavil, Geodon and Xanax for anxiety attacks. What is your diet like? Do you eat meat? Dairy products? Sweets? Sugary foods? Preprocessed foods? Junk foods? ** I know my diet is terrible.....I eat too much red meat, lots of cheese, very few sweets and sugary foods, some processed foods. This is a problem as I am on a fixed income and live with my sister and brother-in-law, and they love red meat. Do you drink coffee? tea? alcoholic beverages? sodas? **I drink quite a bit of coffee in the morning, lots of iced tea, drink only once every couple of months, but seldom drink sodas. Do you eat fruit? Vegetables? Cooked food or raw? Greasy? **I know I don't get enough fresh fruit and veggies. I can't eat most raw veggies because I don't have any bottom teeth to chew with. And yes, quite a bit of greasy, fried foods, but not by choice. I decided this month I will try to go vegetarian. Eating healthy is expensive, and as I said, I'm on a fixed income, so it's a problem. Your answers will help us greatly in helping you to help yourself, honest. HTH, Don Quai Exclusive Video Premiere - Britney Spears
Guest guest
Ok, money is tight... but to get you off the drugs will free up some money. You can do fruit and veggie juices....fruits and veggies... Quit the caffeine. Dairy isn't that good either.. Try the 3 day juice fast in the files under Dr.Christopher... Drink lots of water! This will help. A total cleanse would be in order and quit the red meat for awhile... then after time you might eat some but not much... You should order Doc's tape also. It's free. There is a nerve sedative formula in the files also. Don will answer you tomorrow as he is on a different time zone than most of us.. Guest guest
Weeeeeeellllll, If you want off those drugs you are going to have to make a tough decision. Yes, eating healthy can be expensive but it is more expensive buying drugs for the thousands of maladies that we suffer from wrong food eating. It is more expensive spending time in the hospital getting diseased parts carved out of our bodies by so called professionals who are either too greedy to care or too ignorant of the causes to see that surgery is almost never needed if one would take the time to do a thorough house cleaning, clean up their diet, do cleansings, fastings, drink lots of pure water (distilled) and get lots of exercise. I have yet to hear of a raw foodist suffer from depression let alone meet one. You have to either choose lone happy life or something less. Money will only be an issue if you wish it to be. You should do a total body cleanse and more than once. But I believe that may be too much for you right now. However, you should be able to do 3 day juice fasts, which you will find in the files under Dr. Christopher. This will help you quite a lot to get started taking your life and health back into your own hands. It will not cost you much money. You only have to buy the juices and distilled water. You can do this for three days or three weeks. I suggest starting out for a 3 day fast and doing several of them over the next few months and work your way up to longer and longer periods of fasting with the juices. Then you really need to change your diet. This will be the whole key to your getting off meds and overcoming your maladies. You don't change you won't heal. Simple as that. HTH you out some, at least give you some direction in which to head, Don Quai - Forestwillow herbal remedies Sunday, November 02, 2003 12:38 PM Re: [herbal remedies] Quick Intro Gee, thanks everyone for taking such an interest in my plight. Guest guest
Do check out the female formula in the files section. HRT is deadly for any woman. Start taking cayenne and eating lots of garlic and you stabilize your blood pressure. Vegetarian diet is a great place to start. Walking 30 minutes is good also. You do want to work up to walking for two or three hours. Or even walking at a faster pace to get your heart rate up and get you sweating. Don Quai - Forestwillow herbal remedies Tuesday, November 04, 2003 12:37 AM Re: [herbal remedies] Quick Intro Thanks Don, and all others that replied. I will do what you have suggested. After all, I do have to start somewhere. I've been walking 30 minutes each day, and pretty much decided to go on a vegetarian diet. I went to the doctor for my regular check up today........for the first time in my life (I'm 54, mind you) my blood pressure and colesterol were pretty high. I'm suffering memory loss and am wondering if it is due to the hormone replacement therapy. I'd really like to get off of that! ---Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Guest guest
Hi Jere, Most people don't tolerate the heat of cayenne very well at first. You will get used to it though. It is much better to take cayenne straight then in capsule form. Buuuutttt, if you really can't handle the heat then capsule is okay. You really will want to wean yourself from the capsules though, as it takes so long for the cayenne to affect you. You get much quicker and better results taking 1/8 teaspoon in a glass of fresh vegetable juice 3 times a day and slowly working yourself up to 1 teaspoon 3 times a day. You will get wonderful results too. Good job on the walking. Keep at it and push yourself. You are only limited by yourself. You have already improved tremendously from a few months ago. Keep at it and you will take back your health and begin to live again.
