OT but relevant: a forum about 's proposed fees

Hi guys! I know this is OT but it is about something that concerns us all:

's plans to implement a fee for its mailing lists. I want to let you

know that I have set up a small message board to debate possible,

orchestrated, responses to this situation, and whether or not there could be

a fair and functional fee-charging system that does not have such a direct

impact on the lists themselves.

 

Simply put, as things stand we have too many debates, going on in way too

many mailing lists dealing with this problem and clogging our mailboxes. We

are also confronted with another problem: these debates are isolated because

of the closed nature of those lists.

 

This forum is open to all and guests are not only allowed but encouraged to
