Translating Energy Medicine into Bodywork

" Body workers and practitioners of energy medicine often line in

different worlds…unnecessarily, " says Dr. Mines. " Energy medicine,

including the intricacies of Oriental meridian systems, can easily be

translated into bodywork. "

 

Dr. Mines has done this translation and will share it with massage

therapists, cranial sacral therapists, Rolfers, polarity therapist

and anyone interested in using energy medicine in their practice. In

addition, Dr. Mines will provide participants with information on how

to read and repattern shock and trauma in the body.

Stephanie Mines, Ph.D. is an educator, writer and psychologist, is

the author of several books, including Sexual Abuse/Sacred Wound:

Transforming Deep Trauma. She has training programs in CO, Hawaii and

Mexico. Dr. Mines is a frequent contributor to Massage and Bodywork

Magazine.
