Hi! As the spouse of a manic depressive and living with this illness for 34 years, I suggest you speak with family members and spouses so you can learn from their observations. Sometimes family members have a better insight into what is working rather than relying on the individuals themselves. You must remember that this is a mental illness and the thought process is different than yours. I hope there is a family support group in your community so you can get personally involved with other families that have this common bond. God bless, Madeline
