Guest guest
FYI, There is no Senator Howard Hetzenbaum. I suspect this entire e- mail is a fabrication. I feel that aspartame has questionable qualities, but junk e-mail like this does nothing to validate its removal from our lives. It only makes us all look sillier. Please check your facts first, it's easy to do. http://www.senate.gov/senators/index.cfm Daryl Kulak , " Cherilovergirl " <cherilovergirl@i...> wrote: > Has anyone seen this? > Senator Howard Hetzenbaum wrote a bill that would have warned all > infants, pregnant mothers and children of the dangers of aspartame. > The bill would have also instituted independent studies on the > problems existing in the population (seizures, changes in brain > chemistry, changes in neurological and behavioral symptoms). Guest guest
A quick google search brought up the following facts: 1. There used to be a Senator Howard Metzenbaum (M instead of H in the surname). 2. This senator actually addressed the issue of Aspartame. 3. His letter on the issue is from nearly 20 years ago (1986). See: http://aspartamekills.com/mpvalley/hatch.htm Too curious for my own good... allay - dkrock4 Wednesday, January 23, 2002 6:40 PM Re: Health information on ASPARTAME FYI, There is no Senator Howard Hetzenbaum. Guest guest
The correct spelling begins with an M, not an H. Questionable qualities is an understatment of monumental proportions. It's no fabrication. See www.sweetpoison.com, and if you'd like more just do a search and you should find tons of information. Guest guest
Keep it up allay. If more people would search out the truth from amongst all the hype we could avoid and alleviate a lot of problems. I also did a post on it being Howard Metzenbaum not realizing you had already cleared it up. Thanks Another note about Mr. Barrett, the so called Guru of Quackwatch. He's been dethroned in a big way, along with several of his lying cohorts. They just lost a big case in CA that they believed was going to set them up on their eternal throne of prominence. It's prominent all right, but not how they would have liked it to be. Their case was lost as they tried to base their arguments on their own publications, as well as being so ludicrous the judge saw right through them. Glory be to the truth! Quackwatch is in it's death throws and it's a well deserved end to a malicious and hateful group of money grubbers.
