Thoughts and Prayers Please Read the Whole Thing

in a message from an Afghani woman, a US citizen, she

says we're doing what the terrorists want. Their

country is already " bombed back into the stone age " .

Another letter from a man who I think is American,

asks instead of bombs of destruction, send bombs of

clothes and food, and information, send so much it'll

overwhelm the government. Neat concept. Shower them

with things that promote life and thinking.

I fear our leaders allowed this to happen so they'd

have our support for military spending.... Please read

my prayer:

 

--A Prayer--9/14/2001

Creator, Goddess, God, That Which Is, as we come

together today in rememberence, mourning, and unity,

may we always remember those who risked their lives,

as well as those who lost their lives. May those

who've fallen rest in Peace. I pray that we may hear

You. Those who ask for You to be among us have only

but to listen. This is an opportunity for us all to

look deep within our hearts where we know you dwell.

We pray this isn't the beginning of the end, though it

IS the end of the world we knew. It's not so much an

end, but a New Beginning. Let us bring forth this new

beginning as a more Tolerent people. The Peace we

seek must begin inside our hearts. Please give us the

Strength to choose our words and actions wisely, the

courage to back away from a fight, and the wisdom to

know when and how to react when nessessary.

. We can learn from this tradgedy, realizing that

whoever did this, does not reflect the sentiment of

the majarity of their people.

As we deal with our shock we need to express our

pain. Let no one be alone during these hard times.

Please help us explain to the children, let them

express their feelings. As we begin picking up the

pieces, and return to our routines, we pray for Peace,

Healing, Unity and Justice. May our leaders do the

right thing, for the good of All. ©2001 by A
