I would give different thing if it is from an infection of teeth or gums. Guest guest Posted September 5, 2001 Report Share Posted September 5, 2001 Hi there - I just read the last response, and as much as Preparation H will take away the puffiness, it should only be used if you have no other way because it will eventually make your skin wrinkle. It acts like a balloon - when it is inflated it looks great but as the air comes out the skin of the balloon wrinkles badly. Same thing. I suggest for long term remedy of puffy cheeks to not eat salty food at night, do not eat after 7 Pm at night (earlier if you go to bed very early). If your face is still puffy in the morning, the other quick fix is to put ice on it. It hurts but it will close up your pores and get your face ready for make up.
