Good Morning!

Enter~ A New Beginning

Well, it is that time again, Labor Day, the unofficial end to

summer. If you are like me, the thoughts of summer ending can put me

into a tail spin! Born on the first day of summer, constantly

following the sun, I am most alive in this season of utmost Yang!

Flowers in full bloom, the scent of fresh cut grass, the warm ocean

and its tempting breeze all seem to put me in my most Zen-like state!

The thoughts of letting go of all this can put me in a mild

depression. It takes every fiber of my being to think positive,

think ahead and conjure up ways in finding new beginnings instead of

holding on to the past joys of summer.

Alas, all those who can associate, we will pull through.

A new beginning is a threshold of a new understanding!

A new beginning is a way to mentally clean house and past activities--

and prepares the space in thought, for tomorrow's unseen

situations. This can allow us to visualize qualities we wish to

develop in ourselves. By assessing these qualities, we can determine

if it will uplift our lives through making us a better person. As we

grow in consciousness, we become more conscious of the greater plan

for our life in the world. We attain a more universal overview of

life.

A new beginning can come from ideas that may come from outside

sources--other people, magazines or the media. This may give us

inspiration and allow a good solution to come to mind. A new

beginning gives us the opportunity to contemplate all that is before

us! We can take notes on ideas that come to mind. Writing down ideas

while contemplating helps us evaluate the best course to follow.

Look over your notes and decide the pros and cons of each idea before

making an important decision.

If we see a new beginning as progress in upgrading our consciousness

through conviction to the virtues and truths we have decided to

follow, we will more quickly be able to feel comfortable with the

dawning of a new future and not look back, feeling depressed about

what has been.

As we upgrade our consciousness, our conscious decisions become more

spontaneously for the best. Time spent in discovering a new start

uses our mind optimally. Stirs our thoughts and sifts out the

unwanted. Leaving just the right answer for us EACH TIME.
