Adverse events following immunization(AEFI) committe notified in H.P.

Dear all,

With some persuation by JSA the director

health has notified AEFI committe in Himachal, this

committee would be followed by district level

committes and every child immunized would be taken

care of and any advere reaction followed-up.

Such committees are already excisting in the entire

country except HARYANA AND BIHAR AND SOME STATES OF

NORTH EAST.

We need to keep an eye on the funcioning of these

committees so that any adverse reaction is notified

and investigated.

Also such committes need to be notified in Haryana and

Bihar.
