Guest guest
FRANK SPEAK FROM DR. LEO REBELLO Roughly a billion people live on less than $1 a day. And 3 billion – half the people on Earth – survive on $2 a day or less. Among that first billion, the poorest of the poor, 70 percent are women. For them, each day is a struggle. And the media concentrates and proudly tells us about the Forbes list of 10 richest men of the world and that out of these 10 richest (read corrupt men) 4 are Indians. Some vicarious pleasure that. And a German dame called Sabine Jerome (whom I know not), has been spamming me for last about a week because she is concerned about a Bangkok street dog called Dany. Now the dog will be airlifted to Koh Samui (40 minutes by flight) to a dog hospital. But obviously Sabine believes in consulting Dany (something which Vaccines mafia does not believe in). Sabine writes, "if Dany does not wish to fly to Koh Samui, she can stay in a Bangkok clinic till she recovers". Some priority that when millions of children are dying of hunger in Africa, Asia and Latin America. According to Costco Connect, this year an estimated $40.8 billion will be spent on pets -- more than Americans spent in 2007 on airfare ($35.5 billion) or $46.4 billions they spent on nursery, elementary and secondary schools.
